The canary test
One question that tells you whether your AI is reading your instructions, or ignoring them.
Miners carried a canary underground. While it sang, the air was fine. When it went quiet, you got out. This is the same idea. One question, and you know.
Why you cannot just look. A file sitting in the folder looks identical whether it is being loaded or not. Mine sat there for a full day doing nothing and I could not tell from the outside. The only way to know is to ask a question that only that file can answer.
